Field Report: Middle Creek Wildlife Management Area, March 10, 2013

On Sunday, March 10, 2013, Valley Forge Audubon Society had a field trip to Middle Creek WMA to view the migrating Snow Geese and Tundra Swans. Unfortunately, most of the geese had already left the area ahead of a storm system a few days earlier. A large flock was still seen coming in for a landing and the Tundra Swans were still present. A Northern Harrier also put on a good show stalking the fields. The complete list of birds seen, as reported to eBird follows:
